JENICE McCARDLE
LISA BARTH - I am married to my very best friend, I've had the honor of being a SAHM (stay at home mom) for the past 15 years, with the first 10 of those years spent homeschooling my 4 children. Since no longer schooling my kids, I have been abundantly blessed with 2 grandchildren and truly enjoy creating keepsakes for the newest generation in my family!
MARK GLIMSKI is proud to be a new member of Scrapbook Island’s Design Team. He has been active in the adventure of arts and crafts all his life, dabbling and trying it all over the years, joking… a jack of all crafts… master of few. He paid for grad school by designing and making jewelry, and works in a trade he grew up around, his mother owned a floral design business. He is currently working as a consultant and event designer in the floral industry. The paper crafting genre is one that truly inspires him. Scrapbooking and card making is high on the list of his favorites things to do. His true joys in life are ages 18 to 21, two boys and two girls. From throwing birthday parties to coordinating family dinners, Mark is always creating, inventing, and experimenting with new and exciting designs/projects. With the youngest off to college, there are plans brewing for a bedroom to a craft room conversion in the near future. Furthermore, he has always had a passion for cooking, gardening, traveling, and reading.

VERONICA LEGGETT has been doing some kind of crafting since she was a young girl. She's done embroidery, needlepoint, rugmaking, macrame, sewing, quilting, porcelain doll making, ceramics, beading, painting, and scrapbooking to name a few. Her passion is making mini books and altered home decor, with her style being mostly vintage and collage. She loves finding things in her stash and at garage and estate sales and using them in her scrapbooks and art. She is an award-winning doll artist, and has been published in doll magazines. Veronica likes lots of texture, and often uses crackle paints, canvas, fabric, flowers and bling in her creations. She recently managed Scrapbook U in Fremont, and taught kids' camps and classes there. When the store closed in October of 2010, she and the owner, Monica Martinek, formed a partnership, Scrapbook U Creates, offering scrapbook retreats, classes and monthly kits. She and her husband have been married 42 years, are retired, and live in Union City. They have two sons, two grandchildren, and a great grandson.
VICTORIA LAU has a love for all things crafty. She can often be found in her studio scrapbooking, stamping, sewing, or painting. She’s been scrapbooking for almost two decades. A music teacher by profession, Victoria is currently a stay at home mom. She loves freelancing in her spare time with her paper crafting talents. She’s been published several times as well as designing for different online stores and kit clubs, teaching classes, and has written tutorials for online magazines such as Rubber Road Adventures. Her passion is for designing layouts, but she has a weakness for making minibooks galore. Her finished projects usually include vivid colors, lots of texture, and always a touch of bling! Victoria lives in San Francisco with her husband and son. She is thrilled to be back designing for the Island, and is looking ahead to the challenges it will bring. You can follow Victoria’s crafty adventures on her blog at http://vjlau.wordpress.com/.
CHRISTINE DELGADILLO is the Design Team Coordinator for the talented design team members at Scrapbook Island. She has been designing and teaching scrapbook and mixed media classes at her local scrapbook stores for the past ten years, has been a Certified Educator for Tattered Angels, and a guest artist for Creative Jumpstart 2013. Christine loves teaching new techniques, creating interactive projects, and sharing ideas with others. She says the best part of teaching is meeting so many wonderful people who love to create. Christine retired from her 20+ year paralegal job and now keeps busy with teaching, crafting and scouring antique fairs and estate sales for treasures to recycle and repurpose for the booth she shares with a friend at Paris Flea Market. She was published in the June 2012 issue of Love My Memories, and was the “Grande” prize winner of the 2011 AccuCut GrandeMark Challenge. Christine and her husband have been married for 30 years and have three grown children. You can view some of Christine’s work at http://www.ChristineDelgadillo.com/
