Sunday June 26th: "Kraft It" Class, Time: 10:30-12:30 pm, Cost: $40:
*My favorite color is shopping bag brown, also known in the scrapbook industry as kraft. It's my go-to cardstock color of choice, and it's great for so much that I've developed this class to show off all the reasons you want to use it. Not only will projects be created, but also tips and loads of sample projects will be shown as well! In this class students will receive a kit filled with all kinds of fun stuff to play with from the new Tim Holtz kraft glassine paper and envelopes to traditional kraft cardstock and so much more. Loads of examples will be showcased and students will be able to play and explore many mediums and techniques as well. Cards, tags, and a layout will be created in class and all students will leave with a goodie bag with all kinds of embellishments and papers to take home and continue their kraft play. A PDF file handout will be sent to all students via email following class that has detailed photos, tips, and instructor notes for reference as well.
Sun. June 26, "Funky Hodge Podge Mini Album, Time: 1:00-2:00 pm, Cost: $25
*Just a little of this, a sprinkle of that, and a whole lot of vintage fun is in store with this class! Everything but the kitchen sink - you're going to love this style of making mini books! Starting with one of the fabulous Jenni Bowlin Hodge Podge minis, you'll get ideas for filling your own book, as well as play with all kinds of treasures and techniques. Webster's Pages sparklers and trims, Tim Holtz distress and kraft resist products, tiny alpha stickers, tags, buttons and trinkets, and so much more fun stuff can be found in these kits. This is an action, value, creative, sugar, and fun packed hour.
Sun. June 26, "Summer Soiree" Class, Time: 3:00-6:00 pm, Cost: $50
It's so much more than a scrapbook class - it's a creative party!! From vintage inspired finds to tags and banners, fun ideas for travel pages and techniques to use in everyday crafting, May has created a three hour workshop that will leave students with projects completed, as well as a goodie bag to go and a colorful handout full of additional ideas. In this class students will find themselves immersed in a world of creative play. Layout, card, and tag samples will be shown - however the techniques and ideas will be presented in a way that students will have plenty of product and the ability to pick and choose what they'd like to do. Those wishing to make just cards (or layouts) certainly can! It's the ultimate creative party to kick off the summer season. Products used include Pink Paislee, Sassafras Lass, Webster's Pages, Tim Holtz, Ranger Ink, Studio Calico, and much more!
Enjoy sweet treats (iced tea, cookies, candies, and more!) and come play the afternoon away. Students in this class are encouraged to bring along some photos if desired
