Check out these classes by Marah Johnson This Sunday, May 2 - PLUS a Very Special Trunk Show May 1-2

If you didn't get our email last week regarding Marah's upcoming classes this Sunday, check them out now! Please note that these are separate classes from the National Scrapbook Day Event held Sat., May 1 and Sun., May 2. We have separate sign ups for these 2 classes. Please note the supply list at the end of each description. Kits are available for both classes.

Sun., May 2: "Twilight" Inspired Memory Book"; 11:00am-1:30pm; $45

 Join Marah in a project that is pure paper crafting luxury. The textures, the patterns, the colors all blended together to create a book worthy of your priceless memories. Whether you are a fan of the "Twilight" series or not you will surely love this book. Flocked papers, inks, dyes,glimmer mists, perfect pearls, alcohol inks,vintage book pages, lace, tulle and so much more - you will be sure to have dirty fingers.

Student Supply List: Paper trimmer, scissors, favorite tape runner/adhesive; Zip Dry adhesive, large ½" flat glue dots, black ink pads for swiping, dark red ink pads for swiping, 2 Foam brushes, Crop-o- dile. 

Sun., May 2; "Memories in Bloom" Flower Book; 2:00-4:30pm; $37


Just in time for summer - Memories in Bloom combines vintage book pages, vintage sheet music, the gorgeous textures of flocked and foiled papers, and of course Marah's favorite "cardboard". You will be immersed in inks and glitters, sprays and Luminarte (you may want to forgo a fresh manicure until after class). The color of your flower album will be up to you, Marah will bring plenty of choices for you to create an album that celebrates your personality - "No two flowers are alike".

Student supply list: Scissors, 3 foam brushes, black ink pad for swiping edges, Crop-o-dile, white glue (tack glue is Marah's favorite), baby wipes, rubber gloves (optional).

"Quick Quotes Canvas Frame" Class; Thursday, April 22 from 7-9pm; Cost: $32.00

  • * Family is the theme for this inspirational canvas frame project. If you love their classes at the Expo, then this class is for you. The class is special only for scrapbook stores. You get a canvas frame 16" x 12", chalking ink, laser die cuts, chipboard die cuts, ribbon, and cardstock. All you need to finish the project is your pictures. Stop by and see the sample in the store. Makes a great gift or addition to your decor. Please bring your basic tool kit. Remember that you'll receive a 10% discount on all purchases made the day of the class!

    We have the latest and greatest Fancy Pants papers and coordinating embellishments in the store. The lines include "Rusted Sun", "My Family", "About a Girl" & "Road Show". You should see these papers! All are double sided and you won't know which side to use because they are both so cute! We have ALL the matching goodies and transparencies too!

    Supply Lists for Heidi Swapp Classes April 9-10

    Are you you all getting as excited as we are for Heidi Swapp's upcoming classes!? Below are the supplies you need to bring to each class. Basically, just bring your basic tool kit and a couple of extra items listed. 

    We also listed what Heidi will be using. You do not need to purchase those items ahead of time but we will have them in the store the day of the class if you choose to buy them. See ya next Friday and Saturday!

    Class #1:

    Fri., Apr. 9, 6:00-9:00 pm: "Time and Season" Mini Book

    Students to Bring: Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Crop-o-Dile, your favorite adhesive, Paper Knife (exacto) w/ cutting mat, Pencil & Sandpaper.

    These are the supplies Heidi will be using (for your information): TIm Holtz Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap & Black Soot), Black archival ink,  Alcohol Inks (cranberry, shell pink & pearl), Alcohol Ink Pen (Chestnut), blending tools and felt, Bazzill clear paper, script/text stamp from Tim Hotlz and Hero Arts, Glossy Accents & Glitz Stickles.

     Class #2:

    Sat., Apr. 10, 10:30am-1:30pm: "Fascination Glimmer Mist" Mini Book 

    Students to Bring:  Paper towels, Brayer, Black ink (archival ink) & your favorite adhesive. 

    These are the supplies Heidi will be using (for your information):  Misting mats & Fascination folder. 

    Class #3:

    Sat., Apr. 10, 3:00-5:00pm: "House of 3" 5x7 Mini Book

    Just bring in your basic tool kit! Easy!
